Good Stuff - Part III

Here are some good ideas for winter if you live somewhere that actually has one.

Double up on your Vitamin D. We are out less and have less sunlight in the winter so going from 1000 IU's to 2000 is a good idea.

Making large pots of soups or chilis makes your evenings go better. You make 3 or 4 days worth of the stuff and then play the additive game through the week to keep it interesting. With chili you can start with a bowl on day one and then day 2 add a scoop or two over some steamed brown rice and some kale greens. Day three toss some with some Organic pasta and add some chopped red onion and diced avocado. And so on.

With soup you start with a big vegetable soup and have a bowl on day 1. Day two you add some cooked noodles or Farro or brown rice to your soup for a change. Day 3 add some extra spice to it with some hot sauce and serve it Gumbo style over rice.

Get outside even if you have to bundle way up or don your rain gear. Cabin fever is no fun and we continue to need fresh air even if it is cold or wet.

Be very well and more soon....
